Victoria County residents are top priority for Clint Ives

Editor, the Advocate:

Clint Ives, a friend whose leadership and tireless efforts helped stop a San Antonio company from dumping toxic grease and grit trap waste mixed with sewage sludge in Victoria County, is running for re-election as County Commissioner in Precinct 4. He deserves your support in the Republican Primary on March 6, and he needs your vote.

I find it unsettling that Clint's opponent has accepted a four-figure campaign contribution from the out-of-town interests who were intent on dumping their sludge in Victoria County.

Clint keeps a watchful eye on things, and the best interests of Victoria County residents are his top priority, not special interests like sludge companies. His hard work and determination in fighting for what's right have earned the respect of other elected officials in our area and at our state capitol.

Please vote for this proven and experienced public servant in the Republican primary.
